The Atlantic Planners Institute is an affiliate of the Canadian Institute of Planners. It has a partnership with CIP with respect to the qualifications for membership. The Canadian Institute of Planners has provided a Membership Manual for the guidance of the National Membership Committee and the Affiliate Membership Committees. “Volume 2 – applications for Membership” outlines the requirements for prospective members of the Canadian Institute of Planners. Provisional members are encouraged to read Volume 2 and are particularly directed to the sections on the Log Book, Oral Exam, and Written Exam.
